PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Techchlor is a concentrated powder of Calcium Hypochlorite.
It is ideal for use in Swimming pools and Spa pools to maintain a base level of chlorine.
Dangerous goods class 5.1 for transport.
DIRECTIONS
Pool Start Up: Super-chlorination - Pre-mix Techchlor in a bucket of warm water. Make sure to add the Techchlor to the water and not the water to the Techchlor. Add at a rate of 400 grams per 10,000 litres. Wait for 24 hours with the pool pump running and test. The aim should be to get 1 ppm of Chlorine in the test kit.
Water balance: Adjust the pH to obtain a level between 7.2 – 7.8 ppm. Adjust the water hardness to achieve between 100 – 300 ppm.
Stabilization: Add Techchlor directly to the pool at a rate of 250 grams per 10,000 litres. Allow thorough 12 hours for the chlorine to react completely.
Daily Treatment: Add 50 grams per 10,000 litres daily or as required. Test the chlorine level regularly (daily or each weekend) and adjust the Techchlor dose accordingly.
PRECAUTIONS
Store in original container.
Do not mix with other chemicals.
Rinse container when finished, recycle where possible.

WARNINGS
MIX WITH LARGER QUANTITIES OF WATER ONLY – SMALL AMOUNTS OF WATER WILL GENERATE EXCESSIVE HEAT.

FIRST AID
Ingestion: drink 1-2 glasses of water. Seek medical advice. Do not Induce vomiting. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing patient.
Skin Contact: rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Eye contact: flush with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Inhalation: remove from further exposure. Seek medical advice if discomfort continues.
Spillage: contain spillage with absorbent and dispose in accordance with local regulations.
