For soaking hobs, filters and extractor grills
DESCRIPTION
- Is a powder for soaking metal parts in a kitchen – Hobs , filters from the overhead extractor grills (these should never go through the dishwasher as it coats everything in fats – including all the pumps and tubes that you cannot clean.
- Metasilicate degreaser is like caustic but will be safer to use and not as aggressive on metals (other caustic products eat aluminium very quickly , once through the grease layer , aluminium will dissolve like a berocca tablet).
- Dangerous goods class 8 for transport.Additional freight charges may apply on rural deliveries, you will be contacted with options prior to dispatch.
DIRECTIONS
- Gloves and glasses needed and preferably a plastic apron.
- Simply put some hotter water into a bin or half 200L drum etc, add a couple of scoops of metasilicate degreaser and soak overnight. Finish off by hosing or use kitchen sluice gun.
PRECAUTIONS
- Store in original container.
- Do not mix with other chemicals.
- Rinse container when finished and recycle where possible.
- Keep out of reach of children

FIRST AID
- Ingestion: drink 1-2 glasses of water. Seek medical advice. Do not Induce vomiting. Donot give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing patient.
- Skin Contact: rinse with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Eye contact: flush with cold water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Inhalation: remove from further exposure.
Seek medical advice if discomfort continues. - Spillage: contain spillage with absorbent and dispose in accordance with local regulations.
